First words.

Look! A blog!

Welcome, everyone (for a given value of 'everyone', I suppose). Basically I started this because I had an idea that I wanted to share on Facebook, and then I realised that actually I had a lot of ideas that I wanted to share on Facebook, and often I forgot about them because I never got around to writing them down, and quite apart from not telling people about all these good ideas I've been having this was bad for me because thoughts that could have changed my behaviours and my opinions, given enough attention, were drifting half-formed and shapeless into the void, which seemed like a bad way to go about life.



So the tl;dr on that sentence is that this blog is as much a workshop to figure out what I actually think about things as it is a platform to shout my ill-considered opinions from the rooftops (although I am sure, if there is nobody to stop me, that there will be some ill-considered shouting as well). If some other people feel like they'd like to read what I have to say, well, that would be seriously excellent.

On a less serious note, I hopefully will also be posting some miscellaneous (and hopefully interesting) stuff, perhaps some amateur photography (as a Gen Y Christian I have to prove my chops in this area), and things on the internet ranging from the hilarious to the fascinating to the disturbing and downright silly. The goal is to not forget about this blog and try and update semi-regularly. I guess we'll see how I go.
